When I first heard about "Tetris," I was curious yet a bit skeptical about how a film revolving around a video game could translate into something gripping and entertaining. Directed by Jon S. Baird and featuring the talented Taron Egerton in the lead role, I found myself pleasantly surprised.

I was eager to see how Perry would navigate the delicate balance between historical accuracy and cinematic storytelling, especially given the heavy emotional weight of the subject matter. What I didn’t expect was to feel both uplifted and somewhat disappointed by the film's execution.
